Carl Rodenburg (17 May 1894 – 5 November 1992) was a German general who commanded the 76. Infanterie-Division during the Battle of Stalingrad. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Carl Rodenburg was taken prisoner by Soviet troops on 31 January 1943, during the Battle of Stalingrad.
